Our special thanks to Zombie at our forums for bringing this to our attention.

If you want some more intel, an older thread has a few extra thoughts on the way the're looking to approach the new instalment, so check it out as well. Xenonauts 2 is looking more likely than not and we're actively designing and prototyping it at the moment, but it'll probably take a month or two until we're ready to make a final decision. but in exchange, every time they take damage their maximum health falls by, say, 25% of the damage sustained.
XENONAUTS 2 ALIENS FULL
At the end of each alien turn, all Sebillians will return to full health. The game is written in Unit圓D, providing players with much-needed updated graphics. The new game takes place in an alternate timeline where an alien invasion is taking place in a Cold War era Earth. This game however, is not a chronological sequel of the original. The Sebillians might have their regeneration turned up to eleven to make them more interesting to play against. Xenonauts 2 is the second game in the Xenonauts franchise, developed and published by Goldhawk Interactive. This might lose power as more Caesans are killed, or perhaps it just gets stronger each turn to encourage the player not to turtle when fighting Caesans (or possibly both). The officers get significant bonuses in combat for each nearby drone, and there is a single collective psionic power attack performed each turn. We're playing with the idea of making the Caesans a hive consciousness, with weak drones (above) and more threatening officers. We've got some new ideas for all of the races and we've got some concepts done for the updated Sebillian and Caesan designs that look quite a bit more "alien" than before.

We're working on redesigning the aliens from Xenonauts 1 to make them more interesting, both visually and in terms of the core mechanic for each race. (.) we're going to run some tests over the next few weeks on how we can try to make the art style look a bit more 2D and hand-painted. Our biggest concern regarding Xenonauts 2 is whether we can create a workable 3D art style - this not only has to look good in 3D but ideally will also reference the 2D sprite style of Xenonauts 1. The response to and feedback given on a potential sequel by the community has been remarkable and has gone a long way to convincing us that it would be a good idea. It is a grand strategy game that involves. It is a spiritual successor to the classic X-Com strategy games, putting the player in control of an organisation defending the world from an alien invasion.
XENONAUTS 2 ALIENS PC
(.) the chances of us making Xenonauts 2 as our next game are better than even. Xenonauts is a PC strategy game due for release in 2013. And, apparently, the good folks over at Goldhawk Interactive are of a mind to bring us back to the fray for a second time, eyeing an ambitious return in 3D for a potential Xenonauts 2.Ī recent thread at their forums has encouraging developments to report: The weapon also appears in game files in the "Soviet" weapon set, and is seen in two versions one with wooden furniture and one with black, presumably polymer, furniture. That's what we say. The appearance of this weapon in the hands of Soviet troops is somewhat anachronistic, as by 1979 it would have been somewhat replaced by either the AKM or AK-74. Although it is not available for equipment pre-mission, if a Xenonaut soldier picks one up while on mission, it is saved as part of their loadout when they return to base.
XENONAUTS 2 ALIENS UPDATE
In earlier builds, picking one up during a mission transformed the gun into an M16 however, an update gave it its own GUI image, albeit without any statistical difference from the M16 other than magazine capacity. It cannot be equipped by Xenonaut troops in between missions. The AK-47 appears in game in the hands of NPC Soldiers and Local Forces during missions in the Soviet Union and Middle East. Despite it's former name, the weapon appears on farm tilesets regardless of location. A sequel to 2014s Xenonauts, Xenonauts 2 continues your adventure as the commander of an elite military force that is trying to fend off an alien invasion.

GUI Image of the "Soviet Shotgun", also known as the "Farmer's Shotgun". The weapon has polymer grips and originally had an inaccurate 12 round magazine, but this has since been changed to the correct 15 round capacity. Much like the first Xenonauts, the sequel will instead of chronologically following on the story, will re-imagine the alien invasion at a different time, in this case during the cold war. The weapon is also seen in the hands of Police Officers and Local Forces during missions. A Beretta 92 variant, presumably the 92F, appears as "Ballistic Pistol", and can be equipped by soldiers in between missions.
